On the question of whether it has been easier for her as a woman doing the business, she said that it has been as challenging for her as it has been for any other person and so she has kept herself updated over times. She said that though the business has been tough for everybody for over a year now mainly because of the Corona virus and that the negative impact has affected up sixty percent of the business, but that these are surmountable. She continued by saying that continuous training and retraining is needed for the licensed customs agents in other to acquaint themselves with the modern methods of doing business as she said that she just came back from Sierra Leone on a training trip.
On the issue of the traffic gridlock in and around Apapa, she said that the new call up system should be given the time to work as she noted that Rome was not built in a day.
