Story by Dili Utomi.
The wave of democratisation process currently sweeping through the ranks of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has continued in the form of a fresh election into the executive body of the Tin Can Island chapter of the association.
Election was conducted at the NAGAFF national secretariat yesterday to have officials man about 12 available positions at the chapter. The chairman of the NAGAFF national electoral committee, Nonso Ejikeme told newsmen at the venue of the election that just like they did the previous day that it was the turn of the Tin Can chapter to have their election take place and that he expects all the contestants to be peaceful and compliant with the rules and accept the results of the election as NAGAFF is a professional association with individuals who are well trained and professional in conduct. Henry Orarotimi, the secretary of the electoral Committee said that all the proper documentations have been done, but that in any human endeavour, little challenges are expected and so that they had to move to the chapter to speak to the individual contestants in order to forestall any unwanted issues and the logistics presented a little challenge, but that these were promptly attended to.
