AYANDELE DONATES N10 MILLION TO YABATECH CHAPEL PROJECT

Yabatech College of Technology (Yabatech) Church project, a project of the College Christian Community recently got a boost of N10 millon courtesy of Dr. Olusola Ayandele, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Integrated Energy Distribution and Marketing Limited (DISCO), Ibadan, Oyo State.

Dr. Ayandele, an alumnus, a former staff and a former governorship aspirant in Oyo State in the 2019 election is a Ph. D holder in construction management. He disclosed during his visit to the site of the church project that the N10 Million donation was his voluntary contribution for the construction of a befitting Chapel of God for the College.

Engr. Osunla, a friend of Dr Ayandele and a member of his entourage also donated N1 Million to the chapel project.

Since the foundation of the new Chapel building (Chapel of Christ the Redeemer), an interdenominational centre of worship for Christian staff and students on campus was laid last year, the Christian community in the College have continue to reached out to well meaning Christian individuals/alumni for financial assistance in support of the new chapel building which cost estimate is put at N250 million.

The Rector of the institution, Engr. Obafemi Omokungbe who was highly elated described the N11 million donation as a huge boost to the project. He thanked Ayandele and his friend on behalf of the Council, Management, Staff and Students of the College for their acts of magnanimity.

A member of the Chapel Building Committee, Pastor B.A. Jayeoba showered encomium on the two donors and prayed for the good Lord to continue to bless and replenish their purses.
