Crisis Resolution: The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) takes a firm stand.

The National Executive Committee of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) led by its president Mr. Iju Tony Nwabunike has indicated it’s willingness to follow all the Constitutional provisions in trying to stem the tide of the crisis that has engulfed the oldest Licensed Customs Agents body in the country which has pitched some members of the Board of Trustees against the National Executive Committee of the Association.
Mr. Nwabunike at the Media parley organised to intimate journalists on the genesis of the crisis and the various peace moves that his administration had tried to implement to no avail said that the tenure of the BoT has since expired on January 12 , 2020.
The ANLCA president also indicated that plans for an annual general meeting of the Association is in place and that this will usher in an election that should bring in a new board of trustees, he added that already three members of the out gone Board have picked up forms to contest for membership of an incoming Board as any member has the right to serve a maximum of two terms of six years each.
The vice president of the Association Mr. Kayode Farinto decried the attempt to whip up ethnic sentiment by some members of the BoT in other to render the NECOM ineffective as he urged all well meaning members to rally round the National Executive Committee of the Association.
