Story by Dili Utomi
The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has today conducted elections into various executive offices in the Port Terminal Multi-services Limited (PTML) chapter of the association. As has been noted for the past three days, there has been a beehive of activities at the association’s national secretariat where elections have continually been conducted to elect officers to man the available positions at the various chapters. The national electoral commission chairman of the association, Nonso Ejikeme in an interview said that because the standard for the accreditation for participation in the election has been set very high, all the elections have witnessed lower turnouts than usual. He reiterated the NECOM’s commitment towards conducting all the chapters election successfully as he noted that a few more chapters are yet to have their elections conducted.
